The event will be hosted by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and it will bring together scientists, managers, industry professionals, students, and other stakeholders to discuss pressing issues, research, and development related to fish passage and river connectivity.<\/p>\n<p>Abstract submissions are encouraged to address this year\u2019s theme \u2013 \u201cOpportunities and Innovation in a Changing World\u201d \u2013 which may attend to broader issues or case studies related to fish passage and river connectivity, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dam\/barrier removal<\/li>\n<li>Multi-species passage<\/li>\n<li>Technology and monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Fish physiology<\/li>\n<li>Culvert passage<\/li>\n<li>Habitat connectivity<\/li>\n<li>Partnerships and collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Policy, regulations, and management<\/li>\n<li>Decision support systems<\/li>\n<li>Social and economic valuation<\/li>\n<li>Cultural and indigenous perspectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Abstracts are due no later than <strong>March 21, 2022<\/strong>. Everyone planning to present at Fish Passage 2022 should submit an abstract, even if your symposium session has been accepted. Review of abstracts will begin promptly after the deadline with notifications sent to authors in early April.
