Discuss with Steve Kambouris\n<ul>\n<li>Have a booth for only the opening evening? Act as \u201cambassadors\u201d for the trade show vendors?<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t call it a business meeting, could help attract more people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel Award Results and Discussion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Winner is Jordan Holtsworth<\/li>\n<li>Scoring improvements\n<ul>\n<li>Rubric was a bit too general<\/li>\n<li>Should we require a presentation for applicants?<\/li>\n<li>Send \u201cprimers\u201d to scorers about things to keep in mind when scoring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Poster for OFWIM\n<ul>\n<li>Sarah will touch base with the winner about getting it printed and getting it to the meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Fishackathon 2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Notable changes in leadership<\/li>\n<li>Still ramping up, date has been moved from February to June to coincide with World Ocean Day (June 8-9<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019)<\/li>\n<li>Paul is scheduled to be in Europe during that time but will make sure someone is there to cover it<\/li>\n<li>Could we create a package to help more subunits be involved? Distill the package from Fishackathon down and send it out to the units \u2013 encourage them to register as well<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Technology Article (Sarah)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Will send a draft to ExComm in the next couple weeks<\/li>\n<li>Initially were going to put it in NAJFM as a peer reviewed summary of advanced tech but editor decided it isn\u2019t quite the right fit for the journal.
