Jonah Ventures has worked with scientists, researchers, citizens, and students across the U.S. to determine the source of\u00a0 E. coli<\/em>\u00a0and fecal coliform bacteria.\u00a0\u00a0By filtering water and then sequencing the DNA on the filters, we can tell you which\u00a0organism is likely\u00a0contaminating your water body.<\/p>\n

Simply collect water in the syringe, push it through the filter, inject the preservative, and mail the filter to us in the supplied barcoded sample cup and return shipping envelope. We do all the DNA extraction and analysis and send you back the results in just a few days.\u00a0Included with these kits is access to a convenient JonahDNA<\/a> phone app, which can be used to enter meta-data.<\/p>\n
