Unlock the secrets inside what the animals around you are eating! Using the Jonah Ventures<\/a> JonahAnimal Diet DNA Kit, you can accurately determine which plant or animal species your target animal is consuming. We can provide you data on the feeding preferences of walleye, illustrate the impact of a domestic cat on the native bird and small mammal community, determine the forage preferred by white-tailed deer, and much more!<\/p>\n

Our kits come with everything you need. Simply put on the supplied gloves, scoop a fecal sample into the sampling bag, put the sample into the barcoded sample cup with desiccant, screw the lid on tightly, and ship it off to us. We’ll complete the dirty work for you. When we are done, we will provide you with a list of species we found in the fecal sample in relative abundance.<\/p>\n

At this time, we are only offering services for herbivore feces (which will be tested exclusively for plant DNA) and carnivore feces (which will be tested exclusively for vertebrate DNA). If you have other needs, please feel free to contact us<\/a> and we can work out an arrangement for other diets.<\/p>\n
