2016 TNAFS Annual Meeting

We are pleased to announce that our annual chapter meeting with be held at Montgomery Bell State Park this year!

Registration: Early registration fee will be $60.00 professional and $30.00 student. Lodging: Hotel accomodations have been arranged at the park. We have a block of 50 rooms that expires on February 1st.

Meals and Events: Registration will cover the Tuesday night banquet and all breaks. Lunch and breakfast are on your own and the Forge Restaurant at the park is a convenient option.

Additional Information: There is time for 54 presentations and 15 posters. Presentations will begin March 15, 2016 at 1 pm CST and the meeting will conclude at 5 pm, March 16, 2016. The poster session will be in conjunction with the Tuesday night banquet.

There will be an auction at the Tuesday night banquet, so please begin to collect items for donation and be prepared to bid high! We will have the ability to accept cash, check and credit/debit cards this year.

Guests are more than welcome at the Tuesday night banquet. Additional tickets may be purchased for $30/person during registration at the TNAFS Online Store

Chapter business meetings will take place the afternoon of March 15th.

First Call For Papers: Tennessee Chapter members and associates are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentations describing their fisheries research and management activities. Oral presentations will be made in a series of Technical Sessions on Thursday and Friday as necessary. Program will not be finalized until after all abstracts are received. Participants will be directed to the final meeting program as soon as it is available. Participation and attendance by students, inactive members and other interested people is strongly encouraged. Submission deadline for abstracts for contributed papers and the poster session is 5 pm EST on Friday, February 26, 2016. For information on how to submit your abstract click here.
