2022 Meeting Updates

Abstract Deadline

We would like to announce that we will be extending the abstract submission deadline to Friday, February 11th. We have only received 9 abstract submissions so far so please consider submitting an abstract for either an oral or poster presentation. We would like to hear about all of the great things that have been going on in the state and surrounding areas in the past year! Students, remember that there is award money for 1st and 2nd place winners for both oral and poster presentations. Reach out to Justin Wolbert, jrwolbert@tva.gov, if you have any questions about abstract submissions.

Early Registration

Early registration will end after Friday, February 11th. Registration rates will increase afterwards. If you are a student or professional who thinks they will have trouble with registration this year, please reach out to Shawna Fix, sfix@tnaqua.org to discuss options.

R Workshops

Unfortunately, we will have to cancel the R workshops. Our instructor will not be able to travel to teach the workshops. If you have registered for the R workshops, we will reach out to you to discuss your options for reimbursement.

Hotel Updates

If you will be staying at the Edgewater Hotel and will be bringing a vehicle that is taller than 6’4″, please reach out to Justin Wolbert, jrwolbert@tva.gov, ASAP. The hotel will potentially be able to reserve a few parking spots outside of their parking garage for larger vehicles. Parking spots for larger vehicles will not be guaranteed, but they would like a ballpark number of vehicles to reserve spots for.
