American Eel Subcommittee formed

During the annual meeting of the SDAFS in Oklahoma City in 2017, the WWSC sponsored a symposium that highlighted current research, monitoring, and management of the American Eel (Anguilla rostrata). Subsequent to the symposium, the WWSC officers decided to create a subcommittee within WWSC to coordinate efforts to enhance communication of American Eel management and conservation among agencies, NGOs, academia, and other entities working with the species.
