Coastwide

Coastwide Salmonid Genetics Conference 2025 Landing Page

Coastwide found a home in 2018 with the AFS Genetics Section. The first Section-sponsored conference was held in Mukilteo, Washington, in June 2018, and the second was in Boise, Idaho, in June 2023.

Welcome to Anchorage!

Coastwide 2025 is being hosted by the ADF&G Commercial Fisheries Gene Conservation Lab and co-sponsored by the AFS Genetics Section and the AFS Alaska Chapter. We’d also like to thank our current corporate sponsors: BBSRI, Illumina, Macherey-Nagel, Element, IDT, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, Alaska Chip Company, Broken Tooth, and Double Shovel! Please note that Coastwide is being held a month earlier this year to avoid Alaska’s crazy tourist season.
