Coastwide Salmon Genetics 2018 – Registration, Abstracts, Hotels

Hello salmonid geneticists and friends!

We are pleased to open registration and abstract submission for the 2018 meeting to be held in Mukilteo, Washington, 19-21 June.

Please see our updated web[page] for information and links for registration and abstract submission (both due by 10 April) through our partners at the American Fisheries Society Genetics Section. The AFS Genetics section, together with Coastwide, will be sponsoring two student travel awards ($500 each); there is a mechanism to identify student abstracts for consideration for these awards on the registration website. Information on local hotels and booking links are also provided on the website (or will be when we have them). Hotel blocks are maintained at some of the hotels, and we recommend booking early to secure your spot and rate.

We look forward to receiving your abstracts and putting together an exciting program! If you have a suggestion for or would like to lead a smaller group discussion or workshop on Wednesday afternoon, please reply. If we don’t get sufficient interest (or volunteers) in doing this, we will fill our day with more science talks, or some time to enjoy the beach and socialize (or both!).

Please let us know if you have any questions. And please pass this along to anyone that we may have missed.
