As many of you may have seen, abstract submission is now open for the 2019 AFS-TWS meeting.

Our unit is hosting a symposium comprised of presentations that focus on how advanced technology is progressing and being used in the field of fisheries research. A link to the session abstract may be found here. If your work may be applicable, I encourage you to submit an abstract for an oral presentation at our symposium! You may begin a submission here: https://afs.confex.com/afs/2019/cfp.cgi

Submissions are DUE April 12, 2019!

Under symposium inclusion, select the “I would like to be considered for a symposium” option and type ID #7681 (Symposium Title: Integrating Advanced Technologies to Improve Data Quality and Reduce Bias in Fisheries and Wildlife Population Research and Management) to find our session.

Decisions will be sent out by April 25, 2019.
