The Treasurer Election results are in…. Congratulations Amberle Jones on being elected into the Data and Technology Executive Committee as Treasurer! If you want to see a little bit more about Amberle, see her Bio below.

We are excited to have Amberle join us on our monthly calls and hopefully we will be able to see her at an Annual Business Meeting in the future.

We also want to thank Kayla for everything she has done in the past 6+ years to shoulder the Secretary-Treasurer position for The Data and Technology Section. She will be helping make this a smooth transition and is working with Amberle. Thank you, Kayla!

Amberle Jones- Bio:
I’m an Aquatic Program Manager for Region 6 Mesa with the Arizona Game and Fish Department and work with both native and sport fish species. I’ve been with the Department since I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2007 with a Biology degree and two minors. I’ve been a member of my local Arizona/New Mexico Chapter of AFS since 2008 and started getting more involved at the National level in 2013 joining the Fish Habitat Section and then the Data and Technology Section. I’m now a member of multiple Sections and want to get more involved helping out the Data and Technology Section as Treasurer. I manage my program budget and am a detail oriented person which makes the treasurer position a good fit for my skill set. I’d love to put that skill set to use for the Data and Technology Section.
