Hi AFSGS Members,

We will hold our annual AFSGS Business Meeting in conjunction with the AFS Virtual Annual Meeting (the so-called VAM). The AFSGS Business Meeting is this Thursday (9/17) from 4-5pm eastern. It will be held via GoToMeeting. The parent society has asked us to direct you to your meeting schedule you received as part of registering for the VAM. The GoToMeeting link will be posted there before the call. The parent society decided to restrict attendance for the Business Meeting to registered VAM attendees.

Our guess is that some of you might not be attending the VAM, but might like to check in on the AFSGS. To that end, we will hold an AFSGS virtual social at 8pm eastern, also this Thursday (9/17). A Zoom link to that social is below. The ExComm will be on the call and happy to discuss issues that come up in the business meeting, or we can just use this as a time to catch up.
