Although the Walleye Technical Committee (WTC) is an AFS Northcentral Division committee, committee members come from any state or province where there is a walleye fisheries (from the MacKenzie River Delta in the Yukon and Northwest Territories, south to Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, west to Oregon and Washington, and east to Connecticut). The WTC meets twice a year, once for three days in the third or fourth week of July in which presentations and workshops are given on walleye, and in a short, more formal meeting in the winter that meets with the annual Midwest Fish and Wildlife Conference.
