Job Opportunity: CA Department of Fish and Wildlife – Senior Hydraulic Engineer

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Conservation Engineering Branch is currently recruiting for an energetic and self-motivated Senior Hydraulic Engineer to provide fisheries and hydraulic engineering expertise that support the planning, design, and construction of stream crossing and wetlands design projects being implemented by the California Department of Transportation. This new, limited-term position is one of CDFW’s Headquarters Engineering Liaisons to Caltrans and will provide enhanced engineering services for Caltrans projects ensuring protection and enhancement of fish and wildlife resources. The incumbent will successfully work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, geologists, fluvial geomorphologists, ecologists, biologists and other environmental scientists.
